BAT IDEOLOGICAL GROUP CELEBRATES NATIONAL RECOGNITION BY APC, COMMENDS COORDINATORS AND MEMBERS

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group (BAT-IG) has received with immense joy, gratitude and profound sense of responsibility its formal recognition by the All Progressives Congress (APC) as an officially recognised support group of the party.

This landmark development though long overdue, was conveyed through a letter dated 20 October 2026 and an accompanying Certificate of Registration issued by the APC National Secretariat, represents a significant milestone in the group’s journey and an affirmation of the dedication, consistency and collective commitment of its leadership and members.

We give all glory, honour and adoration to Almighty God, whose grace, guidance and faithfulness have brought the group this far. This achievement is a reminder that purposeful service, sustained commitment and unwavering belief in a vision yield meaningful results.

We particularly appreciate the National Chairman of the APC, His Excellency, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and the leadership of the party for finding the group worthy of official recognition. We do not take this confidence for granted. Rather, we regard it as a renewed call to greater service, responsibility and loyalty to the ideals and principles of the party.

This recognition is also a testament to the tireless efforts of our coordinators across the country, whose dedication to promoting the ideals, political philosophy and leadership legacy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to strengthen the group’s presence and relevance across communities and political structures.

Special commendation goes to our National Convenor, Comrade Bamidele Lateef Atoyebi, whose unwavering vision, courage, strategic leadership and unalloyed commitment have been instrumental in building and sustaining BAT-IG. His belief in the need for an ideologically grounded movement that goes beyond political support to promote leadership development, political education, grassroots mobilisation and national development has continued to inspire the group’s growth.

His leadership has helped establish BAT-IG as a platform for advancing the Renewed Hope vision, deepening understanding of President Tinubu’s policies, programmes and strengthening the bridge between the administration’s objectives and citizens across the country.

We equally recognise and celebrate every national, zonal, state, local government and ward coordinator, as well as our dedicated members and volunteers. Every contribution, sacrifice, mobilisation effort and expression of commitment has played a part in bringing the group to this defining moment. This recognition belongs to all of us.

For BAT-IG, this is more than a certificate or an official endorsement. It is an encouragement and pedestal to do more, reach more people and deepen our commitment to the political ideals and development vision that inspired the establishment of the group.

We remain committed to upholding the legacy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through constructive political engagement, ideological orientation, grassroots participation, policy advocacy and the promotion of purposeful leadership across Nigeria.

As we celebrate this achievement, we recognise that greater recognition comes with greater responsibility. We therefore reaffirm our commitment to operating in accordance with the APC Constitution, guidelines and directives, while maintaining the discipline, unity and organisational values expected of a recognised support group.

Indeed, this milestone is not the destination; it is another important chapter in a journey of service, commitment and nation-building.

Congratulations to the entire BAT-IG family. The journey continues, the vision remains firm and the commitment to the Renewed Hope agenda is stronger than ever.
