Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group Commends President Tinubu on Successful Rescue of Oriire Abductees

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group (BAT-IG) warmly commends President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the successful rescue of the pupils, teachers and other victims abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

This operation once again demonstrates the President’s unwavering commitment to protecting the lives and property of Nigerians. The people of Oriire, Oyo State, and neighbouring communities, including Ogbomoso, can now heave a sigh of relief, knowing that the Federal Government remains resolute in confronting criminal elements, securing lives and properties and ensuring that terrorists and kidnappers have their days in court to answer to their misdemeanors.

This successful operation also reflects the impact of the President’s various welfare packages for security personnel and, most especially, his commitment to fulfilling his manifesto promise to establish an anti-banditry battalion. The special tactical corps deployed for the mission was drawn from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Police. The operation involved selected operators from the Nigerian Navy SBS, DHQSOF, Army SOF snipers, ONSA Special Operations, Police IRT and the Department of State Services STATT, backed by NAF and USAF ISR assets.

We also salute the courage, professionalism and sacrifice of the gallant officers and men of the Nigerian Armed Forces and other security agencies whose coordinated efforts made this rescue possible. Their patriotism continues to inspire hope across the nation.

While we celebrate this victory, we equally mourn and honour the memory of Lieutenant Felix Ademe Isaac (Lt. F.A. Isaac), who paid the supreme price in the line of duty during the rescue operation. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, colleagues and the entire Armed Forces of Nigeria. His sacrifice in the service of the nation will never be forgotten.

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group remains confident that under President Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria will continue to record significant victories against terrorism, kidnapping and all forms of insecurity.
